Qualification Awarded
The students who have successfully completed all courses of their program and get at least 2.00 on a 4.00 weighted GPA, awarded the associate degree in the field of Tourism Animation.
Specific Admission Requirements
Obtaining the required grade from the Student Selection and Placement Examination (OSYS) held by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). The application procedure of foreign students can also be seen in the university website before the start of each academic year.
Qualification Requirements
In order to obtain a pre- bachelor's degree in the field of Tourism animation, students must successfully complete the all compulsory and elective courses (for a total of 120 ECTS) and must take at least 2.00 a 4.00 weighted GPA.
Recognition of Prior Learning
And foreign higher education institutions in Turkey Mugla University, Parts for students who wish to transfer to Higher Education Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree Programs Level Switch, Double Major, Minor and apply the provisions of the Regulation on the Principles of Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer.
History
In 2012 Marmaris Vocational School was established İçmeler Marmaris.
Profile of the Programme
The Department of Tourism Animation conducts a training program to train "animators" who can take part in facilities providing accommodation services or on stage performances. The program includes compulsory courses on animation profession and general culture. In addition to compulsory courses, there are elective courses in which students are given the chance to choose according to their preferences. Thus, the Department of Tourism Animation educates graduates who can produce solutions by defining tourism animation with interdisciplinary studies both individually and in groups.

Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
Each course is assessed via a midterm exam end an end-of-term exam, with the contributions of 40%, and 60% respectively. The marking is made out of 100 points. All students have to get 45 points in the end-of-term exam. Grades of AA, BA, BB,CB, and CC are pass, DD to FF fail, and DC is conditional pass and requires a CGPA of at least 2.0 for that term. Students may take maximum two make-up exams at the end of the each semester.
Graduation Requirements
The student who has; passed all the courses in the curriculum with at least a DC grade, had a cumulative gross point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and completed totally 120 ECTS credits, and had a passing grade is qualified for Bachelor's Degree. An 30 days internship is also necessary for graduation.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Alumni work as an “Animator” in the tourism enterprises. Animators can find job in the tourism sector businesses, the entertainment industry, nursery and primary schools, municipalities, public education institutions, animation, agencies, companies, organizations, theaters and television.
Access to Further Studies
The candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree successfully, may continue associate degree programs.
