Qualification Awarded
This section is subject to 120 ECTS credit short cycle degree system private security and protection in the field of higher education. he/she complete the program successfully and provided program competencies, He/She possess vocational degree in the field of private security and protection
Specific Admission Requirements
Students who register for the department, under the legislation of university’s academic legal, to complete processed specified by OSYM/ exams must be managed. The student who started national or international equivalent program can apply for horizontal transfer. Before the students acceptence period is not begin, each student’s requirements and the application degree is taking into account and is evaluated specially.
Qualification Requirements
A student is required to successfully complete the designated program of courses meet a minimun of 120 ECTS credit requirement and have minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Depending on the degrees awarded, theoretical or practical courses taken as part of a degree may lead to recognition of these as prior learning by the programme administration.
History
Program of Pivate Security an Protection began in 2012 to teaching-education.
Profile of the Programme
The profile of the Private Security and Protection program is to educate ; analytical intelligent, enterprising, multi-faceted thinking, taking responsibility, for the field of public and private sectors to meet the needs of both large and small businesses in terms of security personnel, the theoretical, practical, is to train graduates with the knowledge and skills.

Exam Regulations & Assesment & Grading
Each course is assessed via a midterm exam end an end-of-term exam, with the contributions of 40%, and 60% respectively. The marking is made out of 100 points. All students have to get 45 points in the end-of-term exam. Grades of AA, BA, BB,CB, and CC are pass, DD to FF fail, and DC is conditional pass and requires a CGPA of at least 2.0 for that term. Students may take maximum two make-up exams at the end of the each semester.
Graduation Requirements
Successfully complete the courses required by the program. Also, did internships to graduate students must have 60 working days.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates of Associate Degree Program in private protection and security can serve in private security units of state institutions and organizations, private security companies and in the areas of security services offired by these companies (banks, transportation systems like train stations, airports, terminals, trams, shopping centers and activities such as meetings, concerts, sports events, stage performaces) to protect life and property of people.
Access to Further Studies
My apply to bachelor's programmes in related fıelds of study provided that the studenrt obtains sufficient score in the Vertical Transfer Examination administired by the Student Selection Centre or may apply to bachelor's degree completion programmes in related fields of study in Distance Education System
